Government Proposal Manager

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Government Proposal Manager to join our team on a fulltime basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in government contract proposals and a proven track record of successfully securing government contracts. This individual will be responsible for managing the entire proposal process from identifying opportunities to submitting the final proposal.

Key Responsibilities:

Identify and track government contract opportunities that align with the companys capabilities and strategic goals.

Develop and maintain relationships with government agencies and key decisionmakers.

Lead the proposal development process including creating timelines assigning tasks and ensuring deadlines are met.

Collaborate with internal teams to gather information and develop proposal content that effectively showcases the companys capabilities and value proposition.

Coordinate with external partners and subcontractors to gather necessary information and incorporate into the proposal.

Review and edit proposal content to ensure compliance with government requirements and alignment with company messaging

Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure the final proposal is errorfree and meets all submission requirements.

Manage the proposal submission process including coordinating with the appropriate government agency and ensuring all required documents are included.

Track and report on proposal success rates and make recommendations for process improvements.

Stay current on government contracting regulations and policies to ensure compliance in all proposal submissions.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Business Administration Marketing or a related field

Minimum of 5 years of experience in government contract proposal management

Strong understanding of government contracting regulations and policies

Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet tight deadlines.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Strong attention to detail and ability to review and edit technical content.

Proven track record of successfully securing government contracts.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe or other proposal management software.
