The Electroencephalographic Technician (EEG Technician) performs neurodiagnostic procedures according to the American Society of Electroneurodiagnostic Technologists guidelines. The position can perform test set up electrode application and maintain patient safety during clinically significant events and other related duties. Provides findings results and a descriptive analysis according to the facility policy and procedures. Strong welldeveloped communication skills are essential for this position.

Work Hours: Parttime; 24 hours; nights 8:00pm8:30am/ on call; rotating weekend shifts approximately once every 810 weeks.

Work Location: Saint Petersburg FL

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • BLS Certification
  • Registered EEG Technologist OR
  • Is registry eligible according to ABRET Guidelines. Registry preferred within two years.
  • Associates Degree or higher from an accredited college or university is preferred OR Graduate of an accredited Electroneurodiagnostic program with a minimum of a High School diploma GED Certificate of Completion or equivalent achievement.
