FMCG Mandarin International Trade Manager

The International Trade Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all international trade activities. This includes managing relationships with foreign suppliers distributors and customers ensuring compliance with international trade regulations and laws and driving sales strategies across global markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive sales strategies and operations across global markets to achieve company goals.
• Develop and implement international trade strategies and sales plans to meet company objectives.
• Identify and evaluate potential international business opportunities and partnerships.
• Manage and nurture relationships with international buyers.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements with foreign suppliers distributors and customers.
• Oversee the export and import of goods and services including logistics and shipping coordination.
• Ensure compliance with international trade laws and regulations including trade restrictions tariffs and customs regulations.
• Coordinate with other departments such as product development marketing and finance to tailor products for diverse markets and ensure smooth international operations.
• Analyze and monitor market trends and competitive activity to identify opportunities and risks.
• Develop and maintain relationships with foreign government officials trade organizations and other stakeholders.
• Provide guidance and support to other employees involved in international trade activities.
• Develop and manage budgets for international trade activities.

Job Requirements

1. Fluently speaking and writing in Chinese or Mandarin.
2. Minimum bachelors degree in international business finance or a related field.
3. At least 5 years of relevant global trade experience.
4. Strong communication negotiation and problemsolving skills.
5. Good knowledge of international trade regulations and laws.
6. xperience in providing strong collaborative partnerships with internal and external stakeholders globally.
7. Strategic thinking with a learning mindset and comfort with agility in a dynamic environment.
8. Strong analytical problemsolving and decisionmaking skills.
9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
10. Expertise in import/export compliance areas such as classification customs valuation free trade agreement origin antidumping/countervailing/quota regimes and compliance programs.
11. Experience in process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives.
