Job Description

This is a remote position.

MasterStart SA the South African partner of MasterStart is an edtech business that places human connection at the heart of our flexible and fully supported online learning programmes. Our portfolio of programmes empower learners to grow adapt and develop their careers in our fastchanging world.

We are looking for an experienced strategic ambitious and highly skilled Business Development Executive to work in a dynamic fastpaced and fastgrowing company. As a Business Development Executive you should be resultsdriven customer service centric and help us achieve our business goals. In this role you will have the opportunity to expand and manage our existing corporate account portfolio. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong relationshipbuilding skills and a proven ability to drive sales growth.

Responsibilities would include but are not limited to:
  • Identify and Research Opportunities:
  • Conduct indepth market research to identify potential clients and business opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive pipeline of prospects.
  • Client Relationship Management:
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with prospective and existing clients.
  • Understand client challenges and needs and propose solutionbased products.
  • Proposal Development and Presentation:
  • Prepare and present compelling proposals and presentations to clients.
  • Negotiate terms and close deals to achieve sales targets.
  • Collaborative Solutions Delivery:
  • Work closely with product development marketing and customer support teams.
  • Ensure seamless delivery and implementation of solutionbased products.
  • Achieve and Exceed Sales Targets:
  • Set and meet monthly quarterly and annual sales goals.
  • Monitor sales performance and market trends to inform strategy.
  • Industry Engagement:
  • Represent the company at industry events conferences and trade shows.
  • Develop and maintain a network of industry contacts.
  • Product Knowledge:
  • Develop an indepth understanding of the companys products and services.
  • Stay updated with the latest product features capabilities and competitive advantages.
  • Effectively communicate product benefits and technical specifications to clients.
  • Provide feedback to the product development team based on client interactions and market trends.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and training sessions for clients to ensure optimal utilisation.

Requirements:
  • 3 years of experience in business development sales or a related role.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities.
  • Be detail orientated tenaciousversatile systems focussed empathetic and resilient.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in CRM software.
