Job Description

The main function of a Technical Program Manager is to provide successful definition implementation and delivery of complex programs that require crossfunctional collaboration and interdependencies across a group of projects and/or related activities. Job Responsibilities:
  • Develop roadmaps based on product and technical requirements and business needs.
  • Lead crossfunctional teams implementing the roadmap from the early stage of development through launch. Lead launch/release activities as it pertains to software features and deliverables.
  • Work across teams in various geographic locations to communicate privacy best practices and remediate privacy violations.
  • Engage with crossfunctional teams to identify constraints dependencies risks/issues and to deliver commitment.
  • Work with teams to set milestones communicate project statuses and identify/address potential setbacks.
  • Develop best practices in a quickly changing and dynamic environment.
  • Ensure project documents are complete current and available for staff and leadership review.
  • Identify resources needed and work closely with the team leads to maintain full visibility of multiple projects ensuring resource gaps are addressed efficiently.
MustHave Skills:
  • 5 years experience as a Technical Program Manager or Software Product Manager managing software programs from inception to production.
  • Experience in the Privacy or Security area is a plus.
  • Building and Scaling Platforms.
  • Working with clients / crossfunctional teams.
Nice to have skills / soft skills:
  • Experience in the Privacy or Security area is a plus.
  • Highly motivated.
  • Someone who is able to collaborate.
Education/Experience:
  • Bachelors degree in a technical field such as computer science computer engineering or related field required.

Additional Responsibilities:
  • Participate in OrangePeople monthly team meetings and participate in teambuilding efforts.
  • Contribute to OrangePeople technical discussions peer reviews etc.
  • Contribute content and collaborate via the OPWiki/Knowledge Base.
  • Provide status reports to OP Account Management as requested.
