Please note time off requests must be disclosed with initial submission to be considered for approval. Time off requested after the acceptance date will not be approved. When submitting candidates include at least two references (one must be from current manager) a resume and completed skills checklist/competency assessment.Description: Instructs patients regarding magnetic resonance imaging procedures; prepares positions and manipulates patients to ensure appropriate placement for imaging.*Selects appropriate imaging techniques calibrates console and peripheral hardware as required.*Obtains images produces film records and backups from desk to storage media and transfers from desk top work station.*Inspects for quality and completeness of exam.*Performs quality assurance on magnetic resonance equipment and laser camera.*Performs physical inventories and maintains clinical supplies.*Ensures adherence to established PHS/PMG and department policies and procedures objectives quality assurance programs safety standards HIPAA and compliance regulations. Must be a team player flexible and accustomed to fast paced environment. Must have successfully completed at least one 13week travel assignment.CERTS: BLS and ARRT required. PALS and ACLS preferred. BLS (ACLS and PALS if obtained) must be completed through American Heart Association American Health and Safety or American Red Cross. EMR: EPIC EMR experience preferred.SHIFTS: 12 hours position. Shift hours varied. Shifts may fluctuate to fulfill department staffing needs. On call required Weekend shifts required also graveyards and holiday required. Travelers are first to float within facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles of permanent assigned location within the Central Delivery System (Rust Medical Center &/or Presbyterian Hospital). Traveling pairs are not guaranteed same schedules or same shiftORIENTATION: 1st week of the contract not to exceed 40 total hours and includes EPIC training. SCRUBS: Required and are not provided by the facility.
