What you will be doing: Nursing Director Labor & Delivery

• Provide leadership and other designated patient care functions/services within the hospital organization.
• Assist in assessing planning coordinating implementing and evaluating nursing practice on a multiunit level.
• Assume 24/7 responsibility of assigned areas.
• Support CNO to ensure high quality safe and appropriate nursing care.
• Ensure competency of clinical staff and appropriate resource management related to patient care.

Experience you will need: Nursing Director Labor & Delivery

• Active and current registered nurse license in the state of residence/practice.
• Highly effective interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proven leadership ability and hospital operational ability.
• Ability to serve as a role model and advocate for the professional discipline of nursing.
• Associate degree from an accredited nursing school with a bachelors degree in a health carerelated field or a BSN (Preferred: MSN or masters in a healthcarerelated field).
• 2 years of progressive management experience in a hospital environment as a manager or fulltime charge nurse/related position.
• AHA BLS – At hire or obtain within 5 working days before assuming patient care.
