To maintain their leading position against ever more challenging requirements they wish to hire a Training Superintendent to be based in their Manila office.

(Based in Manila)

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• This role will be responsible for designing and delivering training to crew and predominantly officers.
  
• Key responsibilities will be to identify the training needs manage the training programs and develop new courses for the seafarers per regulatory requirements and best practice within the industry.
  
• You will identify best practice training and development needs within the Technical Department through gap and job analysis on board appraisal and regular consultation with the Technical and Management Team.
  
• You will be expected to leverage the latest digital technology.
  

Requirements

• Master or Chief Engineer with at least two sailing contracts at that level.
  
• Maritime training and education experience preferred
  
• Experience in managing and developing training programs is desirable
  
• Understanding of training and development strategies
  
• Experience in vetting or technical
  
• Dedicated to developing seafarer careers
  
• Highly analytical with a proactive approach to finding solutions.
  
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of stakeholder.
  
• Well updated with the latest regulatory requirements and their implementation.
