Product Stewardship & Regulatory Compliance (PSRC)

AP PSRC Customer & Operations Support Lead

I. MAJOR FUNCTIONS and ACCOUNTABILITIES

The major function of this role is to support business needs relative to the compliant sale and movement of goods within the assigned region. Responsibilities will include:

1. Support new chemical substance registrations and hazardous product registrations or notification process in the India and ASEAN Subregion.

1. Support the timely response to the Customer Inquiries on regulatory compliance of our products supplied to them.

1. Working with the designated team members within AP PRSC team to ensure
   1. SDS are available in the language and regulatory rules needed.
   2. Support is provided to operations related to label regulatory content
   3. Support is provided to sales and marketing related to access/distribution of SDS

1. Timely support to the First & Standard Order Process (FSOP) to ensure the products compliance when introduced to a new region.

1. Support the AP PSRC team in introducing new Raw materials to a specific Manufacturing site adhering to the internal standards.

1. Support in reviewing and impact analysis of the new/emerging regulations in India and ASEAN subregion.

1. Complete the product regulatory reporting obligation of the operations as required for Axalta products.

1. Support import/export activities as it relates to product compliance issues such as assignment of HS codes in cooperation with the Export Compliance function.

KEY CAPABILITIES

• Bachelors Degree in chemistry or related field.
• Masters degree or higher would be beneficial

EXPERIENCE

• 35 years experiences in product stewardship regulatory compliance and/or regulatory affairs function preferably in a multinational corporate environment
• Practical experiences in interpreting product regulatory requirements in South Asia and Southeast countries
• Knowledge and experience assigning GHS classification
• Knowledge and experience in SDS and label authoring/preparation
• Excellent English communication and presentation skills
• Customerfocused resultoriented and be able to work under pressure.
• Resourceful highenergy and be able to work independently.
