Registrar Internal Medicine PGY3 or above

The Role:
We are seeking Medical Registrars (PGY3 or above), to join a rural setting in a well-supported team.

The Medical Unit comprises of Staff Specialists in teams with sub-specialties in gastroenterology, geriatrics, nephrology, oncology, and cardiology. The Registrar under the clinical supervision of a Staff Specialist will provide high level care medical inpatients on wards and ICU, outpatients, and emergency presentations. Registrars also provide mentoring, leadership and supervision to HMOs and interns. Registrars are required to participate in a roster with varying shifts including weekdays, weekends, nights, and public holidays.

The Hospital:
172 bed, modern facility, and tertiary teaching hospital. The hospital assists a catchment population of up to 100,000 and provides several Acute Services including Emergency, General Medicine and Surgery, Intensive Care, Mental Health and Paediatrics.

Skills & Qualifications required:

1. Registered with AHPRA with general registration preferred
2. Relevant experience in General Medical
