Senior Talend Developer : Job Description

🌍 Where you’ll do it: Chennai (HO)
🏁 An initial screening of the resume leads to a 3-stage interview process lasting at least a week: ➡️ 15-minute HR chat ➡️ 30-minute Technical Round ➡️ 1 -hour final interview with the CEO/CFO to assess a culture fit

What You'll do?
• Data Architecture and Design:
- Design and implement scalable data architectures, including data lakes, data
- warehouses, and ETL pipelines.
- Develop data models and schemas to support analytics and reporting needs.
• ETL Development:
- Develop, test, and maintain ETL processes using Talend to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
- Optimize ETL workflows for performance and scalability.
• Data Integration:
- Integrate data from various sources, including databases, APIs, and third-party systems.
- Ensure data is cleaned, transformed, and loaded efficiently into target systems.
• Data Quality and Governance:
- Implement data quality checks and monitoring processes to ensure data integrity.
- Establish and enforce data governance policies and best practices.
• Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to
- understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior data engineers.
• Performance Optimization:
- Monitor and optimize the performance of data pipelines and ETL processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues in a timely manner.
What You will bring?
5+ years of experience in data engineering or a related field.
Proven experience with Talend for ETL development and data integration.
• Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in SQL and database technologies (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL,Oracle).
- Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) is a plus.
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and technologies (e.g.,Snowflake, Redshift).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and their data services.
• Soft Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
