Job Description

We are recruiting for a Sales Support Administrator who will be the office based support for one of our Clients Senior Sales Managers is offering a salary of 24000 a year and comes with full initial and ongoing training mentoring and support to enable progression into an externally based sales role in a company that works within and is a preferred supplier to many of the major new build housing developers across the South West and Midlands and is office based in Staunton Gloucester GL19.

As the Sales Support Administrator you will be:

  • Coordinating appointments and diary for the Senior Sales Manager.
  • Keeping the CRM database up to date.
  • Analysing data for sales reporting.
  • Coordinating and progressing the sales pipeline with both internal and clients teams.
  • Recording and following up all incoming enquiries and generated leads to promote the company understand the potential opportunity and to arrange a meeting with them and the Senior Sales Manager.
  • Following up on outstanding quotes and estimating requests.
  • Working with the design and estimating teams to ensure all requested quotes and designs are scheduled and on track for agreed completion dates.
  • Performing general admin tasks.

To be considered as the Sales Support Administrator you will need:

  • Experience of customer sales and service in a client focused business.
  • To be a strong relationship builder with excellent attention to detail and communication skills the ability to produce accurate records and to be able to understand and produce a range of reports.
  • A good understanding of Microsoft and in particular Excel Word and PowerPoint as well as experience of working with a CRM database.
  • To enjoy speaking to existing and prospective customers be happy to chase for updates answer enquiries and to be proactive in developing business for the company.
  • To be organised adaptable and focused with the ability to work independently and ideally looking for the opportunity to progress into an externally based area sales role.
  • A driving licence and your own transport as their offices are not on a train or bus route.

Extra detail on what the job entails:

  • Managing Client Communications logging all new and existing enquiries ensuring the information received is distributed internally to the correct people and teams and communicating progress both internally and externally. Monitoring the sales process to ensure quotations are completed signed off and submitted in line with the companies processes and the clients timescales. Ensuring all information is logged and monitored on the CRM database which will include contacting clients to request additional information and to gain updates on open quotations.

  • Business Systems and Administration The Sales Support Administrator will have a key role in ensuring all data is maintained on the CRM database all information must be accurate and complete and the Sales Support Administrator will need to chase for this correct detail from internal and external stakeholders.

  • Team Coordination As the Sales Support Administrator you will need the ability to recognise the need for and to coordinate the inclusion of colleagues from within the business to support a particular sales opportunity as required and at all times work closely with the sales marketing design and estimating teams to ensure the highest level of customer service.

This is a permanent job opportunity working a five day / 37.5 Hour week at our clients offices will include a holiday entitlement of 21 days plus all bank holidays enrolment into the company pension and employee benefits scheme with a salary of 24000 and the genuine opportunity within 12 to 18 months to progress into an externally based sales role.
