Job Description

This is a remote position.

This leadership role is pivotal in overseeing our clinical operations ensuring the highest standards of behavior analysis practice and fostering a supportive environment for both clients and staff.


Clinical Oversight:


  • Provide clinical leadership and supervision to a team of BCBAs behavior technicians and support staff.
  • Responsible for tracking and reporting on your clinic s KPI s and presenting to leadership team.
  • Develop and implement behavior intervention plans based on functional behavior assessments and client needs.
  • Conduct ongoing assessments data analysis and progress monitoring to ensure effective treatment outcomes.
  • Review and approve behavior support plans ensuring compliance with ethical guidelines and best practices.
  • Conduct RBT interviews exit interviews and attend to overall clinical staff needs and concerns
  • Conduct offsite program review and ongoing updates as needed


Program Development and Evaluation:


  • Design and implement clinical programs that align with the organization s mission and goals.
  • Evaluate program effectiveness through data analysis and outcome measurement.
  • Continuously improve and innovate clinical services based on current research and industry trends.
  • Oversee classroom readiness program for best practices and overall implementation




Staff Training and Development:


  • Lead monthly staff meetings as well as BCBA meetings
  • Provide training mentorship and supervision to BCBAs RBTs and other clinical staff in collaboration with Director of Training
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to support professional growth.
  • Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment focused on delivering highquality services.


Client and Family Collaboration:


  • Collaborate with families caregivers and other stakeholders to develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Serve as a resource for families providing education and support related to behavior analysis principles and techniques.
  • Ensure open communication and maintain positive relationships with clients and their support networks.


Compliance and Quality Assurance:


  • Monitor BCBA and RBT billable hours in Central Reach in accordance with company standards
  • Responsible for providing documentation for any service or work activity according to the Policies and Procedures Manual
  • Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements professional standards and organizational policies.
  • Conduct regular audits and reviews to maintain high standards of clinical practice and documentation.
  • Address any compliance issues promptly and implement corrective actions as needed.

Oversight:
New employees and BCBAs report to Clinical Director/CEO at least once per month for case conceptualization and management of hours

Communicate regularly with:
Caregivers of clients on a case Behavior technicians on a case LP(A) & Clinical Director


Mandatory meeting attendance:

  • All staff meetings.
  • BCBA meetings.
  • LP(A) meeting each month scheduled accordingly
  • Clinical Director/COO meeting as applicable



Requirements

Requirements:
  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst in good standing
  • Adhere to the BACB® Professional And Ethical Compliance Code
  • Maintain any professional certifications/qualification necessary to provide ongoing consultative services including but not limited to:
    • BACB Supervision requirements
    • BACB Continuing Education (CE) requirements
  • 15 years experience as a BCBA working with clients with Autism Spectrum Disorders
  • 13 years of BCBA employment where supervision and training material creation took place
  • Submit any requested information/documentation required to become authorized to provide services under insurance programs/waivers (e.g. CAQH)

Documentation:
  • Supervision Notes
    • Document using a BCBA supervision Note on Central Reach in order to maintain data and information integrity.
  • Supervision of a behavior technician/ Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
    • Document using both (a) Supervision Feedback Form and (b) Supervision Audit Form in Central Reach in order to maintain data and information integrity.
    • Upload to Central Reach as documentation at time of billing under client for supervision of a tech.
  • Overseeing & supervising RBT students with unrestricted and restricted hours
    • RBT supervision forms signed & curriculum followed for acquired hours.
  • Family training
    • Document using a Family Training Note on the companys template
    • Upload to Central Reach as documentation at time of billing under client for family training
  • Initial Plan of Care
    • Document using an IPOC template on the companys template in Central Reach
  • Updated Plan of Care
    • Duration specific to funding source typically every 6 months
    • Document using an UPOC template in Central Reach
    • upload to Central Reach as documentation at time of billing under client for ongoing assessment as applicable
  • Discharge/ Transfer of Care documentation as applicable
    • Document using a Discharge/Transfer of Care template on the Companys template
    • Upload to Central Reach as documentation at time of billing under client for programming or assessment
Recording time:
  • All time must be recorded in the Central Reach software system.
  • This includes direct service hour and administrative time.
  • Time spent on instruction and training must have detailed notes describing the duties performed and such objective completion.

Normal schedule for a BCBA includes 23 hours of client billable work with 17 hours of administrative and/or training/instruction work per week. There is flexibility here because hour requirements are calculated per 6month period. The salaried BCBA maintains their hour requirement and communicates if they need additional work to meet the requirement.
