Accounting Manger

Job Summary:

The Accounting Manager will oversee daily accounting operations ensure compliance with accounting principles and lead a team of accountants. This role requires strong leadership skills extensive accounting knowledge and a proactive approach to problemsolving.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily accounting operations including accounts payable accounts receivable general ledger and payroll
• Prepare and review financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP
• Lead the monthend and yearend closing processes
• Manage and mentor a team of accountants providing guidance and support
• Develop and implement internal controls and accounting policies
• Coordinate audits and prepare audit schedules and documentation
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts
• Analyze financial data to identify trends variances and opportunities for improvement
• Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support strategic decisions

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field
• CPA or CMA certification preferred
• Proven 4 years of experience as an Accounting Manager or in a similar senior accounting role
• Previous experience in the Agriculture industry is preferred.
• Strong proficiency with accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks SAP Oracle) and advanced Excel skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lead and develop a team
• High level of integrity and professionalism
