Organization provides essential social services to the local community generating revenue through donations grants and fundraising events. As a Chief Development Officer you would be responsible for leading fundraising efforts and cultivating donor relationships to support our mission.

Job Overview:

The Chief Development Officer is responsible for developing and implementing strategies for all outreach and resource development activities building philanthropic support and engaging key stakeholders to meet financial goals.

Responsibilities and Impact:

Collaborate closely with the President and CEO as well as development and engagement colleagues to define and enhance strategy.

Draft proposals solicit donors and oversee fundraising campaigns.

Develop and implement endowment strategies.

Provide oversight of major campaigns.

Experience and Skills

Bachelors degree and at least five years of funddevelopment experience.

Knowledge of fundraising databases.

Experience with annual giving and securing gifts from corporations and foundations.

Excellent relationship management and communication skills.

Ability to prioritize and work in a teamoriented environment.
