Mechanical Engineer - Rotating Equipment

Our client is a company that is expanding greatly in the energy market and is the one of largest methanol producers in the world. They work on EPC projects in various parts of the world.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support in the preparation of proposals focusing on the rotating equipment scope of work.
• Perform engineering activities across conceptual FEED and detailed design stages.
• Develop materials lists data sheets and specifications.
• Participate in equipment layout development 3D model reviews and constructability workshops.
• Develop and review inquiries evaluate quotations and prepare technical tabulations and recommendations.
• Monitor equipment and material purchases by reviewing and approving documents monitoring fabrication and performing inspections.
• Provide technical assistance at workshops and sites during fabrication erection commissioning and startup as required.

Experience:

• At least 5 years of work experience in industrial projects.

Required Qualifications:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Preferred industry experience in power heavy industrial gas separation oil/natural gas or process facilities.
• Experience with API and ISO codes is strongly valued.
• Language skills: Proficiency in English with additional languages (German Portuguese French) being beneficial.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Soft skills: Targetoriented team player.
