Should have hand on with PowerShell scripting and application packaging
You will create MSI EXE and AppV software packages for deployment to Windows 10 and 11 workstations.
Provide thirdlevel troubleshooting support for package deployment/installation issues experienced by endusers the SCCM team or the Helpdesk.
Write scripts using PowerShell to automate workstation configuration.
Perform technical peer review on software packages created by fellow team members.
Dimensions
Manage application packaging requests to be distributed via SCCM Intune to workstations globally.
Managing business line expectations for required software and user experience.
Meet security requirements by ensuring the latest patches for applications are packaged.
Education / Experience / Other Information (include only those that are specific to the role)
You have deep knowledge of Windows Installer (MSI) technology and a minimum 3 years experience creating MSI/MST/MSP installers using: Flexera Admi Studio / InstallShield products Wise Packaging Studio Advanced Installer or Orca.
Minimum 3 years experience creating scripts/automation using PowerShell.
Minimum 3 years experience providing IT support for Windows 10 and 11 OS familiar with tools including Regedit MMC PS Tools Promon TaskSchd EventVwr etc.
Basic knowledge of SCCM Intune VMware and Active Directory
Familiar with legacy application compatibility solutions/techniques creating shims/fixes
Excellent written and verbal English skills comfortable communicating with many different groups: Packagers Requesters End Users Vendors SCCM analysts
You have a University degree or technical institute degree/certificate or from a related discipline or relevant work experience
