Title: Data Security Engineer (Onsite)

Work Authorization: all visa is workable except H1B OPT and CPT

Location: Miami FL (Local candidates only)

Duration: 6 months with possible extension(s)

Carnival Cruise Line is seeking a skilled and experienced Data Security Engineer to join our team onsite in Miami FL. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in security tools cyber security and data protection. This temporary project position is crucial for ensuring the security and integrity of our data systems.

• Define and create processes for Data Leakage Protection using various tools for unstructured data across all brands.
• Investigate and develop a model for automated data discovery and classification on unstructured data preferably with the existing toolset.
• Define and implement a Database Security Monitoring process preferably with tools like Imperva DAM for the discovery and classification of data in structured databases.
• Investigate and create a model for (automated) data encryption based on classification for protectable data in databases.
• Work collaboratively with various teams to enhance security protocols and procedures.
• Provide expertise in process design and implementation related to data security.

• 5 years of current experience in data security engineering.
• Strong experience with security tools such as M365 security tools Purview and Imperva.
• Excellent understanding of cybersecurity and risk management.
• Indepth knowledge of encryption and databases.
• Experience with Imperva DAM data security/data protection and data leakage protection.
• Proficiency in data classification and database monitoring.

• Knowledge of data leakage protection data classification and database monitoring.
• Familiarity with automated data discovery and encryption processes.

• Availability to work 100% onsite at the clients location in Miami FL.
• Experience working as a Data Security Engineer for 5 years.
• Bachelors Degree in Information Systems Computer Science or a related field.
• Less than 25% travel with shipboard travel as needed.
• Ability to provide an ID if requested for an interview. The candidate interviewing must be the same individual who will be assigned to work with our client.
