Job Title: DevOps Engineer W2 Position

Location: Dearborn MI (Hybrid)

Duration: 12 Months

Position Description:

• Implementing and maintaining new Continuous Integration tools and infrastructure.
• Understanding the changing needs of developers and translating them into action items.
• Creating new ways to automate and improve the Continuous Integration process.
• Testing and examining code written by others
• Identifying technical problems and developing updates and fixes
• Working with other teams in the organization to ensure adherence to our best practices Responsibilities
• Setting up maintaining and optimizing pipelines (Jenkins/GitHub Actions)
• Deploy updates and fixes as required to ensure Continuous Integration
• Develop solutions to integrate with internal backend systems as needed
• Perform root cause analysis of development and production build and pipeline issues
• Develop automation to enhance current processes
• Develop new procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance

Skills Required:

A strong foundation in System Engineering and Administration.

• Linux Windows Experience with one or more of the following scripting languages.
• Bash PowerShell Python Experience with one or more of the following Version Control/Repository Management tools.
• Git GitHub GitLab Experience with one of the following CICD tools.
• Jenkins GitLab CI/CD GitHub Actions CircleCI Experience with one or more of the following Observability tools.
• Prometheus Graphana Datadog CloudWatch Lens Experience with one or more of the following log management tools.
• Elastic Stack Grafana Loki FluentD Experience with one or more of the following Configuration Management tools.
• Ansible Chef Puppet Experience with one or more of the following Cloud Platforms.
• GCP AWS Azure

Experience Required:

• A strong foundation in System Engineering and Administration.
• 5 years of experience as a DevOps engineer or a similar software engineering role.

Education Required:

Bachelors degree in computer science or other applicable degree.
