Senior Network Analyst onsite

Duties include (not limited to):

• Diagnosis of network hardware d software problems.
• Management of small projects or initiatives.
• Coordination and supervision of technical staff.
• Installation configuration and management of complex data networking and client/server systems and related software.
• Monitoring of computer network environment.
• Network administration.
• Network security.
• Analysis of workflow processes.
• Recommendations for improvements and solutions using automated systems.
• Third level troubleshooting as required to support Help Desk functions.
• Input to management on methods for improving the productivity effectiveness and efficiency of program operations.
• Network backups and restoration of data.
• Maintenance of server logs.
• Maintenance of LAN or WAN.
• Development of specifications for new equipment requirements.
• Installation of new hardware software and upgrades for various departments utilizing network systems.
• Instruction to end users in maintenance and use of network system and associated applications/hardware.
• Identification and resolution of software related issues remotely or onsite as required.
• Writing of technical documentation outlining end user instructions.
• Coordination with vendors on installation maintenance or repair activities.

Education:

• Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience.
• Microsoft Certified System Engineer (MCSE) or equivalent.
• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA).
• Linux System Administration and experience in Sun PRO Telestaff and Citrix.
