Maintenance Technician

Work Schedule: Monday Friday 1st 2nd and 3rd shifts available. Must have the flexibility to work weekends as needed.

Hourly Wage: $30.00 $38.00 hr. depending on experience

Responsibilities:

• Conduct daily routine checks on equipment to detect damage or needs for repairs on equipment.
• Service machines include but are not limited to conveyors palletizers wrappers fillers depalletizes labelers TETRA packaging equipment is preferred.
• Install start and shut down equipment following company safety policies and OSHA requirements.
• Carry out necessary logistics work including receiving goods preparation of goods for upcoming production orders and loading of bulk products for shipment.
• Complete production line assignments maintaining strict safety standards.
• Maintain and repair PLC electronic pneumatic and mechanical machinery.
• Troubleshoot equipment machines and all associated hardware with minimal supervision.
• Support operators when equipment malfunctions and work with them to correct the problem.
• Participate in the development of team members through training and collaboration.
• Compliance with all rules & policies regarding health safety occupational safety environmental safety food safety legal regulations company requirements etc.

Requirements:

• Must have 5 to 10 years of experience in a food/beverage environment.
• Must be able to relocate to Ogden Utah for the position.
• Excellent understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic circuits is required.
• Electromechanical competency sensors drives HMI etc.
• Industrial electrical up to 480 VACS
• Ability to read manuals and find parts and blueprints.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Fast learner and committed to continuous improvement.
• Ability to work in a fastpaced team environment and with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrated problemsolving skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills
