Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to provide expertise in eCommerce and retail application architecture integration development initiatives and analyzing business requirements. The ideal candidate will craft appropriate costeffective and logical solutions to meet business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Solution Design and Architecture.
- Design and architect B2B and B2C eCommerce platforms.
- Provide architectural support for web stores.
- Handle objectoriented analysis design and Java/J2EE design patterns.
- Analyze business requirements and transform them into candidate system architectures.
- Ensure solutions meet security and high availability requirements.
- Understand and apply both Agile and Waterfall SDLC processes.
- Collaborate and communicate with various teams including Order Management Mobile Application Infrastructure and Finance.
- Triage issues across teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Lead teams in designing and building internal customer and prospect sites.
- Ensure best practices in design usability SEO and UI are incorporated.
- Assess and review activities and deliverables of both onshore and offshore resources.
- Liaise between clients management and suppliers.
- Gain trust through clear and consistent communication.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in eCommerce application architecture and integration development.
- Strong understanding of B2B and B2C eCommerce platforms.
- Proficiency in objectoriented analysis design and Java/J2EE design patterns.
- Experience with both Agile and Waterfall SDLC processes.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
- Ability to lead teams and manage resources effectively.
- Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to transform complex business requirements into effective system architectures.
- Knowledge of SEO best practices and user interface design.
- Experience in working with both onshore and offshore teams.
- Strong understanding of security and high availability requirements in system architectures.

Additional Responsibilities:
- Participate in OrangePeople monthly team meetings and participate in teambuilding efforts.
- Contribute to OrangePeople technical discussions peer reviews etc.
- Contribute content and collaborate via the OPWiki/Knowledge Base.
- Provide status reports to OP Account Management as requested.
