Title: Senior Financial Analyst (Hybrid)
Location: Palo Alto CA
Duration: 2 Months (Possible extensions)
Description:
- Onsite role required to be in office Monday through Wednesday.
- Possible extension and/or conversion if right fit.
Responsibilities: - Own global Marketing headcount management including maintaining an accurate source of truth for actuals & forecast. Reporting & inputting correct forecast into financial systems
- Manage the Marketing accrual process. Ensure activities/services performed in month are either paid or need to be accounted for
- Explain Marketing expense variances between budget versus actuals
- Support global Marketing forecast process including in quarter annual and multiyear planning
- Create monthly reporting for distribution to Senior Management
- Analyze Marketing contributed pipeline to ultimately increase sales performance
- Provide ad hoc reporting and analysis for senior management as needed to review and improve business and financial performance
Essential Skills & Experience: - 35 years work experience in FP&A department
- Advanced Excel & Google Sheets skills
- Excellent analytical and written communication skills
- Ability to work well in crossfunctional teams and build strong working relationship with key partners
- Demonstrated abilities to prioritize and manage multiple assignments in a fastpaced environment to meet deadlines with efficiency and accuracy
- Good attitude and trainability is important
It is helpful but not required to have: - Experience with Adaptive Insights NetSuite Salesforce Tableau Workday Coupa
- Prior experience managing headcount and conducting BvA calls (Budget vs Actual)
