Role overview:
As a Cloud Engineer you will play a crucial role in designing implementing and maintaining our cloud infrastructure. Youll ensure our systems are scalable secure and highly available supporting our mission to deliver seamless and reliable services.

Youll support the company transformation by moving our entire infrastructure to different AWS accounts. Together with the team you will rewrite the terraform configuration by improving the structure and rebuilding the pipelines. Well also have to redesign and redeploy all of our Kubernetes clusters by utilising the latest trends in industry.

Lastly youll have the opportunity to get yourself involved in improving and optimising the network infrastructure between our cloud applications and 3rd party hardware/telecommunication providers.

Responsibilities:

• Design deploy and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure solutions on AWS.
• Implement and manage EKS Kubernetes clusters for container orchestration.
• Develop and optimise the hybrid network infrastructure.
• Develop infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform for automated provisioning and deployment.
• Collaborate with other teams to understand infrastructure requirements and design appropriate solutions.
• Monitor cloud infrastructure performance troubleshoot issues and optimise resource utilization.
• Implement best practices for security compliance and high availability in cloud environments.
• Automate CI/CD pipelines and integration processes to streamline development workflows.
• Document infrastructure configurations processes and procedures.
• Support the internal workplace infrastructure.

Required skills and qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Cloud or DevOps Engineer or similar with a strong background in AWS services.
• Handson experience with Kubernetes (EKS) and Helm for container orchestration and workload management.
• Proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts including VPC DNS and load balancers.
• Experience with scripting languages (e.g. Python Bash) for automation and tooling.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools and practices for cloud infrastructure.
• Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues independently.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
• Curiosity and eagerness to learn new technologies and share knowledge.
