Senior Frontend Developer

Mago is a software that transforms and stylizes any type of video into any aesthetic: paintings anime cyberpunk... It is designed as an AInative tool for video production workflows dramatically lowering the cost per minute of stylized content across genres like anime scifi or historical fiction.

Were seeking a talented Senior Frontend Developer to join our team and help build the foundation of our innovative video stylization / AI rendering technology.

Tasks

• Drive excellent user experience continually improving functionality usability and simplicity
• Implement update and maintain features and user interfaces for our video processing and AI rendering tool
• Integrate and automate frontend tests (including endtoend tests) and add logging and monitoring to the frontend stack
• Provide leadership and mentorship to other team members
• Collaborate with Backend and ML teams to deliver compelling userfacing products
• Design efficient and reusable frontend systems that power complex web applications
• Identify and resolve performance and scalability issues
• Work crossfunctionally to define problems collect data build analytical models and develop highly scalable solutions
• Work closely with UX/UI to ensure seamless integration of designs
• Help build and maintain a welldocumented Design System

Requirements

What Were Looking For:

• 5 years of experience in Frontend Engineering
• Strong proficiency in React (Hooks Suspense etc.)
• Ability to carry a frontend testing strategy
• Strong skills in integrating APIs caching and state management
• Proficiency in frontend optimizations and performance tuning

Bonus Qualifications:

• Experience working with video editing software or 3D animation tools
• Knowledge of film production and 3D animation DCC (Unreal Engine Blender After Effects)
• Familiarity with Stable Diffusion and AIdriven image/video generation
• Knowledge of backend languages particularly Go
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic startup environment
