Job Description

We are looking for a Head of Product for the B2B team in the heart of buzzing Berlin!

In this role you will work closely with the Director of Product & Engineering B2B to steer the continuous evolution of our B2B product offering.

Your focus will be on creating and driving a longterm product vision and strategy aligning it with our core B2C product vision and overall company strategy. To this end you will collaborate with business stakeholders and guide team members of several product functions across multiple product & engineering teams. You will foster a constant desire to understand question and improve the experience for our corporate customers and their learners.

You will

  • Create a longterm product vision and strategy based on market needs stakeholder requirements and competitor analysis ensuring alignment with our commercial B2B strategy and overall company goals.
  • Translate this vision and strategy into a narrative that inspires B2B product & engineering teams and others they partner with to build better B2B products.
  • Lead the planning execution and continuous adjustment of the B2B product roadmap across multiple teams and products.
  • Oversee the entire product development lifecycle from discovery to delivery and beyond: You will empower the Product Managers on your team to partner with research teams and business stakeholders to collect and prioritize product or customer insights and requirements. You will ensure effective collaboration between your Product team and Engineering Quality Assurance and other relevant functions to ensure the timely delivery of product increments of high quality.
  • Collaborate with Marketing Sales and Customer Success teams to jointly define product positioning launch strategies and gotomarket plans. You will ensure organizational readiness for new product releases.
  • Identify gaps in our product management practices and close them for example by introducing or improving relevant processes yourself or by empowering your product team to do so. Champion best practices in product management.
  • Build manage coach and mentor a highperforming product team that includes Product Managers Product Designers Product Analysts and more. You will review and assess their work and provide constructive feedback on it. You will actively guide and support their professional development.
  • Foster a culture of innovation collaboration and customercentricity within the B2B Product & Engineering cluster and across the wider B2B organization.
  • Take datainformed decisions to steer the product in the right direction and enable others to do the same. In particular you will define and analyze key performance metrics to measure product success.

You have

  • 5 years in Product Management including 2 years on a global B2B SaaS product
  • 2 years of experience as a people manager
  • exceptional communication skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly design compelling narratives and effectively address diverse audiences
  • strong customercentric mindset with a deep understanding of user needs and behaviors
  • proven track record of
    • formulating and implementing product strategies that align with business objectives and market needs
    • building managing coaching and mentoring a highperforming product team fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement
    • managing stakeholders from gotomarket teams and collaborating effectively with them to define product positioning and manage product releases
    • leveraging data to inform product decisions and measure success
    • effectively influencing and collaborating across teams and levels of the organization to align on and pursue shared goals
  • Experience in EdTech is a plus.
