Software Developer

The Bank is seeking technical business analysts and developers to enable the team to discover define and deliver on the aims of the emerging roadmap. The Bank prefers specialists that have experience of Findur/Endur as product expertise is often essential to deliver at pace.
Developer requirements
What we are looking for
• Experienced Senior C# Developer
• Familiar with data modelling concepts or an interest and willingness to learn
• Experience of tools supporting the development and version control process e.g. Git and Jira
• Experience of Agile Methodologies and frameworks
• Have the ability to communicate clearly and form relationships with business users and technology colleagues
• A dedication to continuously learn new skills and apply this in relation to design development test and support activities
• A team member who takes pride in the quality of work they deliver and their contributions

Preferred skills:
• Minimum 2 years experience of Findur including v16 upwards is preferred
• Indepth knowledge of C# and .Net frameworks
• Indepth knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL)
• Clear understanding of the software development life cycle
• Knowledge of financial instruments and their underlying characteristics
• Business and systems analysis skills
• Relational databases – preferably Oracle
• Reporting packages such as Crystal Reports

• Play a key role in the entire life cycle of the project from inception to support
• Building and operating a continuous integration (CI) capability when required employing version control of source code and related artefacts
• Ensuring security and privacy requirements are an essential part of systems integration and build
• Testing validation and sign off of integration to satisfy requirements architectures and design
• Continually test your programs correct errors to maximise quality

Business analyst requirements
What we are looking for
• Should have a strong understanding of financial markets and/or treasury operations e.g. trading risk and settlement
• Selfstarter with a proven delivery track record in analysis design and configuration
• Understanding of repos foreign currency swaps and implementation across Openlink clients
• Understanding of software implementation and testing principles
• Ability to adapt to changing working environments and practices
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to selfmotivate work without supervision and prioritize workload under pressure
Preferred skills and experience
• Minimum 2 years experience of Findur including v16 upwards is preferred
• Working knowledge of more technical aspects of Findur such as Report Builder and Settlements Desktop is advantageous
• Experience of technologies used in the automation of testing for Findur is advantageous
Key responsibilities
• Using strong analytical and problemsolving skills to define and help deliver quality solutions to business problems and requirements
• Collaborating with users across Front/Middle/Back Office being responsible for gathering documenting and delivering requirements and use cases from discovery through to user acceptance and implementation
• Partnering with business users you will work as part of a product team recognised as an Openlink expert
