Laser Technician

Job Summary Under the supervision of a licensed dermatologist, theLaser Technician will operate and use laser systems safely and effectively to assist in a variety of procedures limited to anti-aging and skincare, hair and cellulite removal, minimization of skin imperfections, skin tightening, resurfacing, rejuvenation, and cryolipolysis. Job Responsibilities 1 Consults customers to assess their concerns regarding appearance and the services they desire. Performs skin analysis and evaluation to determine the laser treatments. Administers laser procedures, which include but not limited to, hair removal, treatment of pigmented lesions and thread veins, facial/ skin rejuvenation, active acne, chemical resurfacing, and wrinkle reduction, according to established protocols and physician orders. Develops the treatment plans for customers with on-going follow-up care. Obtains applicable medical history and maintains records. Performs the required procedures and treatments in a time-efficient manner while maintaining a pleasant attitude. Advises and coordinates with clients on all aspects of procedures and answers any questions or concerns they may have in a professional and friendly manner. Instructs the client regarding the common pre and post procedure tips and care and expected side effects including obtaining an informed consent for each procedure.
