Job Description

Are you passionate about education and the hospitality industry The International Hotel School is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Work Integrated Learning (WIL) Facilitator to join our team in the Distance Learning Department.


The purpose of this position is to facilitate and offer student support and share your passion for the hospitality industry with students for WIL terms completing check in sessions with students while at properties and tracking their progress. The WIL Facilitator also provides support with placements if required and counselling in addition to discipline.



Requirements

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

A Masters (NQF Level 9) hospitality qualification essential

A minimum of 5 years relevant hospitality experience

Knowledge of hospitality processes and disciplinary codes

Experience within the educational sector beneficial

Established network in the hospitality industry.

Proficient in Learning Management Systems and MS Office computer software

Strong admin ability

Essential Skills:

  • Strong computer literacy; proficient in related computer software
  • Strong administrative skills keeping
  • Good interpersonal communication skills
  • Experience in providing student support
  • Strong and experienced mentor

Qualities:

  • Passion for the company s mission
  • Positive attitude and endurance
  • Patient empathetic
  • Organised efficient and accurate in performance


Essential Skills: Strong understanding of payroll processes, labor laws, and HR best practices. Proficiency in payroll software (Payspace advantageous) and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independantly Ability to work under pressure Professional verbal and written communication Qualities Passion for the company s mission Highly energetic personality Positive attitude and endurance
