Our customer service is known to be exceptional in the hospitality industry and we need an Assistant Manager to join our team as we continue to thrive and outperform our competitors.


Our Assistant Manager is motivated experienced in the hospitality industry knowledgeable about the area and its attractions and most importantly friendly. We work in a fastpaced and often changing business landscape and our team is dedicated not only to the success of the business but also to each other. We value teamwork honesty and punctuality and pride ourselves on our consistent and exceptional customer service. Working with the General Manager and other professional staff the Assistant Manager is responsible for the seamless running of the property and always providing professional and outstanding guest service.

Job Responsibilities:


  • Support General Manager in daily operation of motel to ensure all guest service standards are met
  • Manage front desk housekeeping and maintenance staff
  • Assist with motel budgeting financial plans and daily activities to ensure the smooth running of motel
  • Collaborate with other departments and General Manager to develop an annual budget and assess performance throughout the year making modifications as needed to preserve profitability
  • Address guest complaints and maintain motel standards
  • Manage compliance with company or brandestablished policies and procedures and any local state and federal laws and regulations
  • Other duties as required


Job Requirements:

  • High school qualification or equivalent
  • Bachelor s or associate s degree in hospitality management business or similar field preferred but not required
  • Minimum of one year in a hotel/motel Assistant Manager or General Manager role
  • Strong understanding of hotel/motel operations
  • Excellent critical thinking skills and problemsolving abilities
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Wellpresented and professional appearance
  • Competency with Microsoft Office products
  • Must have flexible schedule and ability to work Saturdays and holidays
  • Must be willing to learn from constructive criticism and change / adapt to new methods as needed from the business environment and challenges
  • Ability to adapt and stay calm in challenging situations
