THE OPPORTUNITY

This position would be ideal for an experienced Senior Manager seeking a career change or a Supervisor seeking career progression. As a key member of our Business Services team you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional financial services to clients utilising your expertise in preparing financial statements income tax returns and managing a dedicated team of accountants. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Produce financial statements and income tax returns for individuals partnerships companies trusts and SMSFs
• Compile FBT returns
• Prepare BASs and IASs
• Supervise and provide guidance to a team of accountants
• Manage and oversees own client portfolio
• Travel to client locations as necessary
• Participate in internal and external training sessions organized by the firm

EXPERIENCE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

• Hold a degree in accounting (BCom or BBus)
• Over 7 years experience in business services within an accounting firm
• Hold CA or CPA qualification
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills and the ability to build enduring relationships with clients
• Capable of working independently or collaboratively within a larger engagement team
• Possess considerable experience in delegation and team management
