Job Description
Our client is a leading group of companies operating in the IT sector for over 20 years. We are currently seeking a DBA to join their team in the Lisbon area.
- Location: Lisboa (Portugal)
- Work model: Hybrid
DAYTODAY DUTIES:
As a Database Administrator you will:
- Administer predominantly opensource databases such as PostgreSQL MariaDB MongoDB Elasticsearch and OpenSearch.
- Develop and maintain scripts for process automation.
- Conduct performance analysis and tuning for both systems and applications.
- Demonstrate proficiency with Unix/Linux operating systems.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in database administration specifically with PostgreSQL MariaDB MongoDB Elasticsearch and OpenSearch.
- Advanced database administration skills.
- Performance tuning and monitoring expertise.
- Proficiency in backup and recovery procedures.
- Experience with replication.
- Proficiency in shell scripting.
- Proficiency in Portuguese (mandatory).
