Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detailoriented EntryLevel Event Assistant to join our events team. This role is perfect for someone looking to start their career in event planning and management. The ideal candidate will have a passion for events excellent organizational skills and a proactive attitude.
Key Responsibilities
- Event Preparation: Assist in the planning and preparation of events including coordinating with vendors managing event materials and setting up event spaces.
- Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the event team including scheduling meetings maintaining event calendars and preparing event documentation.
- OnSite Assistance: Support the event team during events by assisting with registration greeting guests managing event flow and troubleshooting any issues that arise.
- Marketing Support: Assist in the creation and distribution of promotional materials including social media posts email campaigns and event flyers.
- PostEvent Tasks: Help with postevent activities such as sending thankyou notes collecting feedback and compiling event reports.
- Inventory Management: Maintain and organize event supplies and equipment ensuring everything is in good condition and ready for use.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent organizational and timemanagement skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint)
- Basic understanding of social media platforms
