Job Title: Communications Associate

Job Overview: The Communications Associate will support the Communications Manager in developing and implementing communication strategies that promote the organization’s mission enhance its public image and engage various stakeholders. This role involves a mix of writing editing social media management media relations and project management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Social Media Management: Manage and grow the organization’s social media presence by creating curating and scheduling engaging content. Monitor social media channels for trends and interactions.
- Media Relations: Assist in building and maintaining relationships with media contacts. Help prepare press kits draft press releases and coordinate media outreach.
- Internal Communications: Support internal communication efforts ensuring that staff are informed and engaged with the organization’s goals and activities.
- Event Support: Assist in planning and promoting events including drafting promotional materials coordinating with vendors and providing onsite support.
- Brand Management: Ensure all communications adhere to the organization’s branding guidelines and maintain a consistent voice and tone across all platforms.
- Project Management: Coordinate communication projects from concept to completion ensuring deadlines are met and objectives are achieved.
