Systems Administrator

Job Summary:

The Systems Administrator will be responsible for managing and maintaining our IT systems and networks. This includes installing configuring and troubleshooting hardware and software monitoring system performance and ensuring the security and availability of our IT resources. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise problemsolving abilities and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install configure and maintain servers networks and related infrastructure.
• Monitor system performance and ensure the availability and reliability of IT resources.
• Perform regular system updates backups and maintenance tasks.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware software and network issues.
• Manage user accounts permissions and access controls.
• Implement and maintain security measures to protect IT systems and data.
• Collaborate with IT team members and other departments to support various IT projects and initiatives.
• Document system configurations procedures and troubleshooting steps.
• Provide technical support and guidance to users.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve IT infrastructure.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Systems Administrator or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and/or Linux server environments.
• Proficiency in networking protocols and technologies (TCP/IP DNS DHCP VPN etc.).
• Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware HyperV etc.).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS Azure etc.) is a plus.
• Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fastpaced environment.
• Relevant certifications (e.g. CompTIA Network CompTIA Security Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator) are a plus.
