After investing nearly 1.7 million pounds in new state of the art CNC machining capabilities to deliver complex projects to a variety of customers including F1 teams and civil and military aerospace suppliers we are looking to bolster their team in a number of key areas including quality.
Requirements
What the role will involve:
- Dimensional inspection of precision CNC machined parts. Working on small batch sizes typically from 1040.
- Using traditional measuring tools such as verniers calipers micrometers height and slip gauges etc.
- Using a Aberlink CMM machine with a Renishaw probe to inspect the machined parts. This includes setting the CMM to defined datum points running the program and then interrogating the resulting data.
- Completion of quality documentation including FAIR s documents and standard ISO9001 documentation.
- Programming the CMM machine full internal and external training and development can be provided.
What we are looking for in the successful candidate:
- Quality inspection experience within a low volume high precision manufacturing environment.
- CMM knowledge setting operating and interrogating the resulting data is a must have.
- Ideally some CMM programming experience however full training development and support will be provided.

Completion of quality documentation, including FAIR s documents, and standard ISO9001 documentation. Programming the CMM machine full internal and external training and development can be provided.
