Responsibilities:
Recruitment:
- Assist with sourcing and screening resumes and applications.
- Schedule and coordinate candidate interviews (may involve some light administrative tasks).
- Prepare onboarding materials for new hires.
- Payroll:
- Assist with data entry and processing of payroll information.
- Prepare and distribute paystubs to employees (ensure confidentiality).
- Learn about payroll regulations and tax withholdings (optional).
- Background Checks:
- Coordinate and track background checks for new hires.
- Ensure compliance with legal requirements for background checks.
- Business Development:
- Assist with research and outreach to build relationships with potential clients.
- Help with administrative tasks related to business development initiatives (e.g. creating presentations managing calendars).
- Gain exposure to the sales side of the HR industry (optional).
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program with a focus in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field.
- Strong organizational skills attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Eager to learn and explore different aspects of Human Resources.
