Job Description
Job Title: Vehicle Paint Sprayer
Location: Totton Southampton SO40 3WX
Salary: Up to 18 per hour equates to 39780 (must be level 3 qualified painter for this salary / hour rate) uncapped bonus OTE 4550k
FullTime and Permanent
Monday to Friday 42.5 hours a week with optional overtime available on a Saturday
Our client is an automotive retailer representing prestigious car Brands they have a total of 30 businesses providing sales service and accident repair services across Sussex Surrey Kent and Hampshire.
Established in 1931 they are a successful and progressive thirdgeneration familyowned business.
They are now actively looking to recruit a Vehicle Paint Sprayer for their Accident Repair Centre in Totton Southampton.
About the Job:
As a Painter/prepper you will be responsible for:
Running our spray booth.
Checking that the vehicle has been masked and prepared to the required standard.
Mixing and matching colours.
Checking the painted job is acceptable to refit.
You will carry out repairs to the BSI PAS 10125 standards.
About You:
If you are a highly skilled painter / prepper who is consistently outstanding and consistently overachieves in your role by displaying professional conscientious organised committed to excellence exceptional attention to detail and customer focused then come and work for our client.
You must be able to:
Plan your workload effectively to ensure vehicles are ready to agreed timescales.
Work skillfully and safely under pressure.
Carry out work in accordance with the manufacturers specifications.
Work as part of a team as well as on your own initiative with minimal supervision.
Be flexible in your approach.
Continually work to high standards with customer satisfaction in mind.
You will ensure that all tasks carried out follow our Health and Safety guidelines; for example wearing all provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and keeping all work areas clean and tidy.
Ideal candidates will be Level 3 qualified in Vehicle Paint Spraying.
Candidates must have a full and valid driving licence.

The Ideal Candidate: Experience in delivering first-class customer service in a customer-facing environment, ideally within an automotive. Excellent communication skills. Drive to exceed targets. Influencing and negotiation skills, having the ability to identify and close the sale. Full and valid driving license.
