Job Description

As an Audit Manager you will be responsible for managing and leading audit engagements in the government education and public sectors. You should have a strong background and experience in auditing.

Shift: Day Shift Mon Fri 06:00 AM 03:00 PM

Key Challenges Ahead

  • Plan and perform operational and financial audits
  • Identify business process risks
  • Develop testing methodologies to evaluate the adequacy of controls
  • Document the results of evaluations
  • Develop recommendations and reports based on audits and present these ideas to senior management
  • Formulate professional development and educational plans for junior staff members
  • Plan and allocate resources and individuals in accordance with skills and schedules

Requirements

Skills That Shine

  • Bachelors degree in accounting or a related field
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) preferred
  • At least 510 years of external audit experience
  • Experience in governmental audits federal auditing education and the public sector
  • Strong background in and experience with audit methodologies and techniques
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
