Job Description:

Scope: We are looking for a handson Architect and Technical Lead with extensive experience in Data Engineering and Scalable Distributed Systems. The ideal candidate will have 18 years of IT experience including significant expertise in AWS Big Data Engineering and Azure as well as Java/J2EE Applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architecting & Leading:
  • Provide architectural oversight and technical leadership for data engineering and distributed systems projects.
  • Design develop test implement troubleshoot and support AWS and Big Data solutions.
• Big Data Engineering:
  • Utilize 9 years of experience with Big Data technologies including Kafka Spark MapReduce PIG Hive HBase and more.
  • Implement and support Hadoop technologies and related tools.
• Cloud Platform Management:
  • Leverage 7 years of experience in designing developing and supporting AWS and Azure cloud data platforms.
  • Handson experience with AWS services such as EC2 Lambda EMR Glue and Azure services like ADF Synapse and Blob Storage.
• Application Architecture:
  • Architect critical Tier0 applications ensuring High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR).
  • Extensive knowledge of AI Generative AI Neural Networks and Genetic Algorithms.
• Full Stack Development:
  • 10 years of experience in Java/J2EE application development.
  • Automation testing experience for J2EE Python and Hadoop projects.
• Domain Expertise:
  • Experience in various domains including Banking Insurance Manufacturing Healthcare and Telecom.
  • Knowledge of governance compliance and privacy controls (HIPAA GDPR etc.).
• Database Management:
  • Strong handson experience with RDBMS and Data Warehouse databases like Redshift Snowflake Db2 SQL Oracle Hive and NoSQL databases.
• Unix Environment:
  • Proficient in UNIX environments including commandline operations shell scripts and network configurations.
• Documentation & Client Interaction:
  • Expertise in developing use case diagrams class diagrams sequence diagrams architectural flows design patterns and user manuals.
  • Extensive experience in client interaction training and demo presentations.
• Migration Projects:
  • Experience in migrating onpremises to cloud cloudtocloud and between different AWS accounts.

Qualifications:

• Technical Expertise:
  • Extensive knowledge and handson experience with AWS and Azure services.
  • Strong background in Big Data technologies and scalable distributed systems.
  • Proven experience in full stack development with Java/J2EE.
• Experience:
  • 18 years of IT experience with 9 years in Big Data Engineering.
  • 7 years of experience in cloud data platforms (AWS & Azure).
• Skills:
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Ability to lead and mentor technical teams.
• Education & Certification:
  • Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications are a plus.
