Manager Media Relations

The Media Relations Manager is responsible for developing and executing the companys mediabased communication strategies. Their key mission is to: Promote and protect reputation through strategic media and public relations initiatives.

The Media Relations Manager plays a crucial role in elevating Companys profile and communicating the companys mission values and achievements to the public and key stakeholders. They collaborate crossfunctionally to support the organizations strategic objectives and ensure effective internal and external communication. Other related responsibilities may be assigned as necessary to support the overall success and growth of company.

Key Responsibilities

Developing and Implementing MediaBased Communication Strategies

• Lead the creation execution and measurement of mediafocused communication plans to support brand corporate initiatives and overall objectives
• Manage daytoday media relations and respond to media inquiries on brand and corporate matters

Crisis Communication Management

• Develop and maintain a comprehensive mediafacing crisis management plan to protect companys reputation

Content Creation and Media Outreach

• Develop written materials such as press releases Q&As and media statements on brand and corporate issues
• Establish targeted outreach plans to engage with various media tiers including financial business health and innovation outlets
• Develop a strategic media engagement plan for spokespersons

Stakeholder Management and Reporting

• Manage relationships with media agency partners
• Monitor media coverage and share timely updates with key internal stakeholders
• Adapt corporate messaging and content for different audience segments

Position based 40 minutes from Barcelona by car. Option for two days of remote work but inoffice work is highly valued.
