Northwest Talent Solutions LLC is a leading staffing and recruiting agency that specializes in placing highly skilled professionals in various industries. We are currently seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a fulltime position with one of our top clients.

Job Overview:

As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using radioactive materials and equipment. You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely results to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients

Operate and maintain imaging equipment including gamma cameras and PET scanners

Position patients and adjust equipment to obtain highquality images

Monitor patients during procedures and report any adverse reactions

Process and analyze images to ensure quality and accuracy

Work with physicians to determine appropriate imaging protocols for each patient

Maintain patient records and ensure proper documentation of procedures

Adhere to safety protocols and regulations for handling radioactive materials

Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure proper patient care

Stay current with advancements in nuclear medicine technology and techniques

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or related field

Current certification by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)

Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Knowledge of anatomy physiology and medical terminology

Familiarity with imaging equipment and software

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Attention to detail and ability to follow protocols and procedures

Flexibility to work varying shifts and weekends as needed
