Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Applied Scientist to join our clients growing team. As an Applied Scientist you will be responsible for conducting research developing and implementing datadriven solutions and collaborating with crossfunctional teams to solve complex business problems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis machine learning and statistical modeling.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct research and develop innovative solutions to solve complex business problems

Utilize data mining statistical analysis and machine learning techniques to extract insights from large datasets

Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to identify business needs and develop datadriven solutions

Develop and implement predictive models and algorithms to support business decisions

Communicate findings and insights to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders

Stay uptodate with the latest developments in data science and machine learning to continuously improve processes and methodologies

Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members

Qualifications:

Masters or Ph.D. in Computer Science Data Science Statistics or a related field

3 years of experience in data analysis machine learning and statistical modeling

Proficient in programming languages such as Python R and SQL

Experience working with large datasets and using tools like Hadoop Spark or AWS

Strong understanding of statistical concepts and their applications in data analysis

Excellent problemsolving and critical thinking skills

Strong communication and collaboration skills

Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Prior experience in a similar role is preferred
