Contract Type: Fulltime and Parttime roles
Salary: Paid to scale
Location: Wiltshire Swindon

The Role
We are looking for an inspiring Art Teacher who can deliver highquality lessons that engage and motivate students. The successful candidate will be passionate about art and design committed to providing a stimulating and supportive environment that encourages creativity and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging art lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Encourage and support students in developing their artistic skills and creativity.
  • Assess and monitor student progress providing constructive feedback.
  • Organise and display student artwork within the school.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development.
  • Engage in continuous professional development.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Degree in Art or a related subject.
  • Experience teaching art at the secondary level is preferred.
  • Strong classroom management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for art and a commitment to student success.

Desirable:

  • Experience in organising and leading extracurricular art activities.
  • Familiarity with a range of artistic techniques and media.
  • Ability to inspire and engage students of all abilities.
