Job Description
We are currently seeking an Experienced Transport Planner to work for a successful organisation based locally covering the night shift. Experiencing growth and success our client is keen for an exceptional Transport Planner to join their team.

- Plan and organise efficient transport routes for the company's distribution operations.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with drivers suppliers and customers.
- Utilize transport planning software to optimize route efficiency and reduce costs.
- Coordinate with the operations team to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Monitor and track transport performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Handle administrative tasks related to transport planning and documentation.
Who we are looking for:
- Proven experience in transport planning within the logistics industry.
- Strong communication skills to interact with various stakeholders effectively.
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities to meet deadlines.
- Interpersonal skills to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Previous experience in transport planning.
- Familiarity with resource planning and optimization techniques.
- Prior experience in route planning and coordination.
