• Title: Senior Backend Software Engineer Warehousing
• Client: Genpact
• Duration: Full Time
• Location: Seattle WA 98101
• Travel: Occasionally

Responsibilities:

• Research develop and architect the international ecommerce warehouse management system.
• Design scalable system models and business architectures based on industry best practices and business needs.
• Provide solutions for technical challenges such as high concurrency and performance bottlenecks.
• Maintain system quality and stability guiding engineers to optimize technical indicators.

Skills/Qualifications:

• Required:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 5 years of industry experience in a software development environment.
  • Skilled coding ability in at least one programming language (e.g. Java Golang C) and related technology stacks.
  • Familiarity with middleware such as message queues caches and scheduled tasks.
  • Experience in architectural design and implementation with a focus on highavailability highperformance and highscalability architectures.
  • Deep understanding of distributed systems theories including load balancing distributed transactions and CAP/BASE.
  • Experience in leading the design or reconstruction of medium to large complex systems.

• Preferred:

  • Experience in ecommerce and retailrelated fields.
