Fund Accountant

The Fund Accountant is responsible for maintaining the financial records of investment funds ensuring accurate and timely reporting. This role involves preparing financial statements reconciling accounts and supporting audits. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and experience in the investment industry.

Qualifications:

• Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting Finance or a related field.
  • CPA or equivalent certification is preferred.

• Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting preferably within the investment management industry.
  • Experience with fund accounting and financial reporting is highly desirable.

• Skills:

  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite particularly Excel.
  • Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment.
