• Over 8 years of experience as an API integration architect with 14 years of IT experience
• Design develop and implement robust API integrations to meet business requirements and technical standards.
• Lead the architecture and design of API solutions ensuring scalability security and performance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements translating them into technical specifications.
• Utilize Azure API Management (APIM) to manage and secure APIs ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
• Develop and maintain API documentation including technical specifications design patterns and best practices.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams ensuring adherence to architectural standards and best practices.
• Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to ensure highquality code and adherence to best practices.
• Identify and resolve technical issues related to API integrations ensuring timely resolution and minimal impact on operations.
• Stay uptodate with industry trends and emerging technologies incorporating them into the API architecture where applicable.
• Work closely with DevOps teams to ensure seamless deployment and operation of API solutions.
• Proven experience as an API Integration Architect or similar role with a strong focus on API development and integration.
• Mandatory experience with Azure API Management (APIM) and Azure cloud services.
• Proficiency in designing and implementing RESTful and SOAP APIs.
• Strong development experience with programming languages such as C# Java Python or similar.
• Experience with API security standards and best practices including OAuth JWT and API Gateway.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
• Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Previous experience in the BFSI (Banking Financial Services and Insurance) domain is an advantage.
