Job Description

Execute work in accordance with strict compliance of agreed inspection and test plan and to carry out quality inspections accordingly to ensure the integrity and compliance of the item with the requirements of international codes, standards, specifications and customers’ project specification requirements.
Perform pre-welding inspections such as review of WPS, ensuring its approval by reviewing the PQR. Verification of the welder qualifications.
Review the welding drawings and check the fit-up of assemblies ensuring that the fit-up parameters i.e. root gap, bevel angle, alignment etc. are in compliance with the drawing requirements.
