Automation and Electrical Engineering Manager

We are seeking a dynamic Manager for our Automation and Electrical Engineering team. This team is pivotal in overseeing automation and electrical engineering activities for both products and delivery projects. You will report directly to the Vice President of Products & Engineering playing a crucial role in advancing Evacs business and pioneering future solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop the automation and electrical engineering team and its competencies.
• Oversee automation and electrical engineering activities for delivery projects.
• Ensure professional handling and documentation of delivery project designs.
• Provide support for onsite activities.
• Drive standard product development and maintenance.
• Enhance engineering tools and processes.
• Cultivate a highperforming engaged team.
• Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders including product lines sales and delivery projects to ensure cost competitiveness quality and timely project delivery.

Qualifications:

• M.Sc. or B.Sc. in a relevant engineering field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience with products and delivery projects in process equipment.
• Proven leadership skills with a track record of leading engineering teams and resources.
• Indepth knowledge of automation system solutions and architectures.
• Strong understanding of process automation equipment and components within the marine industry.
• Proficiency in PLC programming particularly Siemens S7 (additional platforms are a plus).
• Solid understanding of electrical design (e.g. EPLAN) and relevant standards.
• Familiarity with modern engineering tools such as PDM and JIRA.
• Full proficiency in English.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Proactive wellorganized and an outgoing team player with a cando attitude.
